July 19, 2024: Cash Application Updates

We're excited to announce several new enhancements to our Cash Application product, designed to improve functionality, accessibility, and overall user experience. These updates reflect our commitment to providing seamless and efficient solutions for our customers. Explore the details of these improvements below.

1. Added New Post Schedule Configuration

We have introduced a new post schedule configuration that can suppress the posting of payments for the next month at month-end. When enabled, the current day's post file will only include payments that belong to the current month or older months (based on the payment's deposit date). This allows clients to focus on and close out the current accounting period more efficiently.

2. Added New 'Type' Setting for Deduction Codes

Product(s) Impacted: Collaborative AR and Cash Application

To aid in downstream processing, users must now determine if a given deduction code is a dispute or short pay. These data elements will also be forwarded to Collaborative AR for processing, ensuring more accurate and streamlined operations.

General Improvements

• Expanded Table Integration with Screen Readers: Improved accessibility by expanding table integration to ensure table headers can be announced to the user.

• General bug fixes and client-specific import and post-processor changes to enhance the overall stability and performance of the system.
