March 20, 2025: Cash Application Updates

We are excited to announce several new enhancements to our Cash Application product, designed to improve functionality and overall user experience.

This release focuses on the automated capture and integration of rebate amounts from payment advice into the ERP system, significantly boosting the efficiency and accuracy of the Cash Application process. Explore the details of these improvements below.

1. Flagging Rebate Values

Rebates are categorized as a type of deduction. Users can now flag the 'Rebate' column in incoming advice documents, enabling automated detection and processing of these pre-negotiated deduction fields.

2. Display Rebate Amounts

Rebate amounts identified in the advice documents are displayed in the 'Payment Balance' Table within the Cash App, providing visibility and facilitating reconciliation. The deductions will also be present in the 'Deductions Overview' as well.

3. Intelligent Rebate Extraction

Once the Rebate column is flagged in the initial payment advice document, the system learns from this and automatically identifies rebate values in subsequent advice documents with similar formats. This intelligent process eliminates manual intervention, streamlines data capture, and enables automatic payment validation.

4. Posting Rebate Values

Extracted rebate values can be posted to the ERP system, ensuring seamless integration and utilization in financial processes.
