Pay Order Deposits in the Customer Portal

For Collaborative AR and ERP Payments Customer Portal users, we’re excited to announce an enhancement that makes paying order deposit payments more convenient.

Previously, customers could view their orders in the Customer Portal but could only pay order deposits through the email notification they received.

Now, we’ve added a Pay Now button to the Order Detail page (as shown below) in the Customer Portal. When customers click the Pay Now button, they will be directed to the Order Deposit page (second image), where they can pay.

Signed-up customer users (those who’ve set up a username and password) can make an order deposit payment by selecting from the available saved payment methods or by adding and saving a new payment method. These users can also re-enter the portal or log out of the customer portal from the page (see links at the bottom).

Express users (those who have not set up a username and password) will not be able to save payment methods but can add one to make the order deposit payment.

Suppliers using Collaborative AR will see the Pay Now button on the Order Detail page in the Supplier Portal. When they click on the Pay Now button, they will be taken to the Customer Portal using the Customer Support Mode. They will also land on the Order Deposit page and have access to any saved payment methods. Payments made by suppliers on behalf of their customers will be logged and shown in the Activity page stream in both portals.
