October 3, 2024: Versapay for Sage Intacct Update

We're excited to announce an enhancement to our Sage Intacct Connector, giving you more control over how payments sync between Versapay and Sage Intacct. This update improves accuracy in tracking payment methods and enhances the overall user experience.

Support for Mapping Payment Methods Based on Payment Types

Previously, all payments from Collaborative AR that were not made using a bank account or credit card were automatically tagged as "Cash" when syncing into Sage Intacct. This caused confusion, particularly for payments processed through methods like Lockbox or Check, which were recorded as "Cash" in Sage Intacct.

With our latest update, our Sage Intacct Connector now offers greater flexibility in mapping payment methods based on specific payment types. Sage Intacct supports specific default payment methods (Record Transfer, Credit Card, Check, and Cash), and this update allows you to configure payment types to align more accurately with those methods.

This new functionality ensures that payments processed via different methods in Collaborative AR, such as Lockbox or Check, can now be mapped to their appropriate payment methods in Sage Intacct, significantly improving data accuracy and the overall user experience.

Configuration Required: To enable this feature, Versapay will handle the necessary configuration to map payment types to payment methods within Sage Intacct.
