September 15, 2024: Collaborative AR Update

We’re excited to introduce a new enhancement to the Collaborative AR Supplier Portal that allows you to view aging reports by month, providing greater flexibility for managing collections.

Aging by Month Enhancement 

Standard aging categories in Collaborative AR are based on invoice due dates, which is how aging is traditionally reported. However, some suppliers require aging reports based on the month the invoice was issued (or opened). For these suppliers, collections start earlier than the due date, making Aging by Month a more useful metric for managing collections.  

With this release, the Collaborative AR Supplier Portal now supports “Aging by Month” for suppliers configured to use this feature. In addition to the existing “Aging by Due Date” view, you will see an additional option on the customer detail page to view “Aging by Month”.  

Aging by Due Date: Displays aging based on when the invoice is due.  

Aging by Month: Displays aging based on when the invoice was opened (invoice date), organized into seven (7) categories: the current month, each of the previous five months, and one for all prior periods.  

For suppliers not configured for this feature, only the standard Aging by Due Date view will appear, with no change to your user experience. 

Additional Functionality 

• All aging values are clickable, allowing users to drill down into the invoice listing page and view the invoices that make up each balance.  

• Aging by Month values are also included in the customer export file, but only for suppliers configured to use this feature.  

This update provides more flexibility for suppliers that require alternative aging methods, giving teams the ability to manage collections based on either the invoice due date or the month the invoice was opened.
